What does 'all-inclusive' include on this cruise?
As part of your cruise package, all food and drink, WIFI and 7 nights luxury accommodation is included, as well as all shoreside whiskey experiences and exclusive onboard features, including access to our featured menu of Irish whiskeys, daily Irish whiskey cocktails, nightly gifts & discovery day.
Can I make special dietary requests or changes?
Absolutely, we will collect dietary requirements from guests well in advance of our cruise and ensure all necessary information is passed onto the relevant party on the ship.
What activities are included in the cruise package?
Your cruise package includes all shoreside whiskey experiences and all whiskey related onboard events, such as sailaway parties, cocktail parties and the Discovery Day.
Are alcoholic beverages included in the all-inclusive package?
Yes, as well as being able to avail of the exclusive menu of Irish whiskeys and the Irish whiskey cocktail of the day on demand, there is a wide range of beers, wines and spirits also available across the ship.
Are there any specialty dining options onboard?
Star Pride has 5 incredible restaurants onboard, consisting of Amphora, the main dining room, Through its close ties with the James Beard Foundation, Windstar includes a highlighted James Beard Foundation chef-recommended starter, entrée and dessert each evening in the Amphora. The Veranda, an indoor/outdoor buffet area for breakfast and lunch, plus three specialty eateries. Star Grill - a barbecue inspired eatery, Candles, featuring a meaty menu that manages to please the pescatarian and vegetarian guests almost as much as the carnivores and Cuadro 44, a cosy Spanish cuisine restaurant. We guarantee there is something to suit all tastes.
How do I book shore excursions, and are they included?
Shoreside excursions are not included within the cruise package, however the available excursions at each destination will be made available while on board & they will be available to book at the excursions desk. In true yacht fashion, there's also a swim platform that is unfurled at certain offshore dockings, where guests can go for a dip or engage in water sports like paddle boarding, which guests can enjoy freely.
What are the dress codes for different restaurants and events?
During the day, shipboard dressing is casual. In the evening, the tone for dinner is smart casual - stylish yet comfortable. For ladies, sundresses, slacks and informal cocktail dresses are appropriate. For gentlemen, slacks and collared shirts or polos. There are no formal nights, no costume parties, no requirements for suits and ties.
Is Wi-Fi included, and how reliable is it onboard?
WIFI is provided via Starlink and is included in your cruise package. It is fast and reliable in your suite as well as all areas throughout the ship.
Are there any age restrictions for certain activities or areas?
All onboard and shoreside whiskey related experiences are strictly over 21 as per Windstar Cruises policy.
How do I access medical services if needed during the cruise?
Yes, there is a fully equipped medical facility on board and staff are trained to deal with almost any medical emergency.
What should I pack for the cruise?
The Caribbean is hot and humid year round, so ensure you pack lightweight, breathable clothing, including a swimming costume/shorts for any water based activities. For dining onboard in the evening, ladies should pack sundresses, slacks and informal cocktail dresses. Gentlemen should consider slacks and collared shirts or polos.
Is there laundry service available onboard, and what are the costs?
Laundry service is provided on board at a nominal charge. Dry cleaning is not available. Laundry Service Packages must be added by the first day of the cruise and will be priced by the total number of cruise days. Pricing is inclusive of applicable taxes.
What entertainment options are available onboard during the cruise?
Shows onboard Star Pride consist of a blend of musical performances by the ship’s entertainment team, the crew talent show each night, primarily in the Compass Rose.
Are there any spa or wellness facilities onboard, and what are the costs?
Star Pride provides a full service salon and spa with services including massages, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, aromatherapy, acupuncture, haircuts, blow-outs and highlights
What currency is used onboard?
The onboard currency is the US Dollar.
What are the check-in and check-out procedures for the cruise?

How can I provide feedback or make special requests during the cruise?
If you or a member of your travelling party are celebrating a special event, such as an anniversary, birthday or perhaps you're planning an engagement, let the Irish Whiskey Experiences team know directly and in advance of our cruise departure date so we can arrange something special for you. If at any time during the cruise you require assistance, let one of our team know and we'll be happy to help.
How can I be sure my favourite whiskey will be available on the onboard menu?
There is unfortunately no way to ensure all guests' favourite whiskeys will be available on the featured menu, however you can rest assured knowing there will always be something to suit your taste. The onboard menu & Discovery Day is also a great opportunity to try whiskeys you may not be as familiar with.
How much time will I be able to spend with the Irish whiskey brand representatives on board?
We will be hosting brand representatives onboard with us for 7 nights, and there will be ample opportunity to hang out and share a whiskey with them. However, please be mindful of monopolizing their time, as there are 70+ guests on board who are also keen to talk to them. They will also want to enjoy their own downtime throughout the week too.
I am not much of a drinker but my partner is. Will I still be able to take part in the activities?
Of course, our experiences are about so much more than just whiskey, its about the fun, the people behind the brands, making new friends and immersing in once in a lifetime activities. All of our shoreside whiskey experiences are optional and there is no pressure to join if you'd rather stay on the ship or arrange a different island excursion. If whiskey isn't your thing, there will also be a wide range of beer, wine and other spirits including Irish gins & poitíns onboard, as well as tea, coffee and refreshments.
I'm conscious of how much alcohol I'll be offered every day, will I be judged for skipping a few whiskeys?
There is no shame in skipping a few whiskeys on your tasting mat or deciding not to partake in any whiskey related activities for a day. We encourage you drink more water than whiskey at every opportunity and prioritising your health should always be at the forefront of your mind.
What happens if there is a change of destination or plan during the cruise?
All brands, experiences and destinations are subject to change due to circumstances out of our control. If there is a change to the existing itinerary, we will provide a suitable alternative whether that be onboard or shoreside.
